When I was younger, I loved to dance and I was quite good, but the girls that were focused on going to stage school were leaps ahead of me in their level of commitment and consistency in training. I guess I just didn’t want it enough and I didn’t have the required degree of focus on the goal. I had a story in my head of why stage school wasn’t available to me, and of course, it had nothing to do with my own lack of commitment!
The majority of my clients come to me with some type of goal in mind and we work out the steps required to create the vibrational shift to get them to where they want to be. This works really well, providing they make a commitment to themselves, and are consistent with doing what they need to do – because I can’t do it for them.
Taking inspired action (steps) is the key to living an intuitively guided life and creating a successful business, but sometimes a client will come in and say:
“I just want to feel better, because I’m fed up of feeing stuck”
Have you ever said that? I know I certainly have!
They have no goal – and this is slightly more difficult to address, because if we don’t know where we’re heading, it’s hard to get there – so we work out a really specific step by step plan for them to follow.
Setting goals like this, is something that we rarely do for ourselves with any consistency.
Why are goals important? Because if we don’t have any, we have no way to measure our progress.
I’ve seen people loll around doing nothing for years on end because they don’t know where they’re heading and don’t know where to begin. If they do set goals, they often sabotage themselves, then they feel even worse. We need to break this pattern and we can. But it never gets better on its own.
Contrary to what you might believe through the Law of Attraction – an amazing life has to be created by you, it doesn’t just drop miraculously into your lap.
If you want to change your life, then you must change first.
If you could achieve your goal without change, you would already have done so.
Sometimes we resist that change – it’s a reptilian brain thing – but that’s what keeps us stuck. We have to change from within, and though we might try to do it on our own, we usually don’t know how to, because once again, if we knew how, we would have done it already.
Get consistent with yourself – or get some help!
You are not required to know how to do everything on your own!
If you haven’t got something in your life that you want, it’s because you are not a vibrational match for it on the inside. What can you do about it?
Easy. Change your vibration so that you are a match for it!
Consistency is the key. Hence why so many people have ups and downs in life. Why we have so many on again/off again relationships, stop/start diets, exercise regimes that go nowhere AND why we have feast and famine in our business. Believe me, that’s one that I know well and have had to work on repeatedly until I got the consistency in my vibration and moved away from lack mentality.
The bottom line is that you have to be a vibrational match for what you are asking to receive and if you drop into any kind of doubt, fear, worry or disbelief especially when you do begin to see your perfect life start to come into view, then you’ll move away from it again as quick as you can say “out of alignment”.
This was me for years… Get ahead, fall back. Get ahead, fall back. Believe me, I’ve learned this lesson the hard way.
Can you commit to taking the actions steps required each day to become a vibrational match to the life you really want?
What are three action steps you know you can to take to help you achieve your goals?
Make a list and commit to yourself that you’ll do it (and ACTUALLY DO IT!) or get some help (because that’s what trainers and coaches are for).
I’ll be sharing some great tools and techniques that are designed precisely for this type of situation inside the Aligned and Unlimited Membership. If you’d like details of how you can join, just reply to this message and I’ll give you all the details.
My message to you today is to stay focused on what you want to achieve. Don’t spend 24/7 praying for it from a place of lack, but rather align to what it would feel like and who you would BE if you had already achieved that goal.
I’d love to hear how you get on with this practice and as always if you have questions I’d love to help answer them for you.
From my heart to yours,
Love
Karen
